Base II and Ableton remote scripts

Hi, I've tried hard to use my brand new Base II as a dedicated controller to Live using the Remote scripts. On my system (OSX 10.8.5, Live 9.2.3, Max 7.06, Base's firmware is up to date) the controls absolutly don't work as shown in the videos. As soon as I leave the Launch mode and start using midi controls to play sounds and record clips, I get stuck when I go into shift-2 or shift-3 modes. The notes don't play anymore, even if I see there is some activity on the midi monitors in Live. Also, I don't get different playing modes when I select a drum rack, just the diatonic matrix kbd. Do any of you, or people at Livid, have used this combination ? I'm stuck with this useless controller for months now (I already have a bunch of stuff : Code, BCR, BCF, padKontrol, Lemur, Max,...) and bought it for its supposed integration with Live. I start to think I should have gone for the Push.
