Question from a newbi

Hy everyone

I am not an expert about midi, so my question might be a little silly, but i need some help.
I am interested to built my first MIDI controller, Brain Jr. seems to be a good choice, but before purchase it i need to clarify a doubt.
Regarding to the rotary encoders, is it possible to receive midi feedback from the software when change the parameters, so Brain Jr. will "recognize" the changes without any "jump"?
The software I use is Ppooll (based in Max/MSP) which have midi feedback perfectly implemented. To resume, I wanted to know if Brain Jr + encoders can work in the same way Livid Code, BCR2000, Doepfer Pocket Dial and Kenton Killamix do (providing no jumps during the changes in the computer screen).
Besides my bad English, I hope is understandably what I mean.
