I think the DrumSteppr is fantastic for live use, but there are a couple of changes that I think would make it even nicer. I have very limited java-skills, so the scripts controlling much of the DrumSteppr confuse me.. Maybe someone can help.
The "groove"-knob adjusts the groove amount for each individual chain - while its great to be able to have different chains use different grooves, I find that it would be more useful with a global groove-knob controlling the groove amount of all chains. Is it somewhat simple to change the behaviour of the groove-knob so that it works in this way? I tried looking into lividsteppr_lcd.js of the M4L patch, but it was not really a success.
Also reassigning colors of the LEDs beneath the endless rotary encoders - is this possible? I can't really figure out where the colors are assigned. In the M4L patch, the javascripts or in the python remote scripts. I tried using the online editor to change the colors of the LEDs, but it is overruled as soon as the DrumSteppr is loaded...
Any help would be much appreciated!
