I'm new to this livid / diy electronics stuff. I got my brain v2 starter kit, and as I'm reading through the wiki, I'm noticing that the assembly instructions are specifically intended for very specific configurations of buttons / knobs / faders. I would like a slightly non-standard configuration: 9 buttons, 4 knobs, 1 fader (2 columns of 4 buttons, 1 column of 4 knobs, 1 fader, and 1 final button below the fader).
The wiki does not seem to explain the theory behind all of this. Some of the configurations require a jumper on R2 and R4, and some don't. It doesn't explain why. And because the configuration I have in mind isn't listed, I'm not sure how to go about putting the capacitors, diodes, and pin headers in the right spots.
Is there a document out there for me that I'm just not finding on the interwebz?
