wiring piezo sensors

I'm getting ready to wire up 36 individual analog piezo sensors to a BrainV2.   I'm assuming that the ribbon cables are the way to go? I would need at least 4 ribbon cables.  I'm assuming that you can cut the cables at the sensor end and split all the wires connecting all the grounds of 4 sensors in a row to the designated ground of that row of ribbon cable wires and the other hot leads to each of the 4 appropriate wires on the ribbon cable.  This would be repeated until all 36 were wired.  If I was to add capacitance, would that be wired into the hot leads?  
Any tips on doing the soldering on those tiny wires coming from the ribbon cable?  
Any suggestions about keeping this all organized, clean, and of course functional?
